Love Spells Portland Concert reviews
Don't Miss These Blues Pioneers!
Buddy can still sing and play, although he doesn't perform much anymore. His constant use of the "F" word made me uncomfortable, especially since families with children were in the audience. It was like being transported back to 1958 at the Booker T. Washington Hotel on Fillmo' Street when B.B. sang "The Thrill Is Gone". His band did most of the work, but his performance of the song truly touched me. I didn't want to see him any other way, so I left after the show.
